For two guys who “didn’t really have a brand strategy” Dale Hardiman and Adam Lynch, aged 24 and 26 respectively, have done pretty well for themselves.
They are the co-founders of Dowel Jones, a five-year-old Preston-based furniture brand (yep, they wasted no time after uni) that has fitted out the bricks and mortar Mr Burger in Fitzroy, Dessert Kitchen in Sydney and now, restaurants and cafes around the world. It drove above average organic traffic to the site from Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. It also positioned realestate.com.au as tastemakers and curators.
